Robert Leon Hunsperger

Bob graduated from Center High School, class of 1963. He was an avid football player throughout school. Bob bravely served our country with the US Navy. Most notable time was spent aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. He had a lot of fond memories from his time as a sailor.

Bob was proud of his career with Aquilla. Even after his retirement he was quick to lend a hand if someone needed help. Bob was a devoted Mason and Shriner. He served in the Mounted Guard. His devotion to helping children through the Shriners was substantial.

Bob had a passion for fishing. He was a talented angler who loved to teach others. He had many stories of the best fishing holes and fond memories of being out on the lake with his brother.

Bob is predeceased by his loving wife Roberta, mother Marge, father Otis, and his brother Garrett.

Lovingly remembered by his step-children Vicki (Don), Jackie (Steve), Becky (Hank), Allen (Rhonda), Sister in law Terry, nephews Jim (Jaclyn) and Jeff, several great nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Private graveside service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110. The family would like to thank Centerpoint Medical Center for the care that Bob received while there.
