He spent his last day playing with his grandchildren and enjoying his evening with his wife Denise.
Bob served in the Navy on the USS Westchester and USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He received degrees from Park University and Avilla College. He retired in 2002 after many years of working for DST Systems. Bob started every day with a crossword puzzle and could be found most weekends spending time at the lake with his family and friends. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He will be missed dearly.
Bob is survived by his wife, Denise Lecuyer; a daughter, Melissa (Enrique) Lynn; a son, Jonathan (Emily) Lecuyer; a stepdaughter, Courtney (Justin) Dedrick; a step-son, Derick Peknik; grandchildren Kai and Vaida Lynn and Aurelian Lecuyer; Kyson, Paige and Keagan; his mother, Fran Lecuyer; and brothers Jimmy Lecuyer, Steven Lecuyer and Mark Lecuyer. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Lecuyer and his first wife, Debra Lecuyer.
Graveside visitation will be held 12:00pm to 1:00pm, followed by a graveside memorial service at 1:00pm, Thursday, December 10 at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
