A visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 28th, from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO. A funeral will follow the visitation at 1:30 p.m. The graveside service will be at White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO.
Roberta was born May 26, 1926 in Coal, MO, the third child of Robert Eberting and Clara Knisely Eberting. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1943. In 1947, she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Central Missouri State College. She was a member of the Theta Sigma Upsilon sorority later known as Alpha Gamma Delta. Roberta was nominated to represent her sorority as their candidate for yearbook queen and was crowned Rhetor Queen. She taught high school business classes in Richmond and Liberty, Missouri. For many years she was the office manager for two manufacturer rep companies. Roberta was a member of Hillside Christian Church since 1957.
She lived a fulfilling life as a loving mother to four children, a caring sister to seven siblings, an amazing wife to her late husband Jim, and a friend to many. She enjoyed entertaining, traveling, playing bridge, reading and solving crossword puzzles.
Roberta is survived by her two children, Deborah Dickson Anderson and her husband, Philip, and a son James Robert Dickson; daughter-in-law, Patti Dickson; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Roberta leaves 3 brothers, Don, Fred, and Richard. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, sons Judd and Ted, her parents, brothers, Robert Jr., Martin, Darold and sister Shirley Koelling.
