OBITUARY

Robin Teresa BOWEN

February 21, 1953February 11, 2018

Robin T. Bowen, 64, passed away February 11, 2018. Funeral Service 11am on Fri., February 16th with visitation one hour prior at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel, 11924 E. 47th St., KCMO 64133. Burial following in Brooking Cemetery.

Robin was bornFebruary 21, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Lonnie & Icel Robinett. She was a kind hearted soul who touched everyone she met. Robin would drop everything to be there for someone in their time of need. She never put herself first.

Her sense of humor was second to none. Wednesday, February 21st would have been Robin's 28th birthday…for the 37th time. She was well known for dropping items in someone’s cart if they ran into her at the grocery store, especially if that person was rude. She was a person who would laugh with you, cry with you and worry about you.

Robin’s hobbies included chasing Bigfoot, chasing storms, building something new using her avid imagination and spending time with her beautiful grandkids. She had numerous "adopted" children… Neighborhood kids, Nieces, Nephews and friends of her own kids.

Robin is survived by her loving husband, Butch; daughter, Shelly; son, Boe and four grandchildren, Devin, Brandon, Melena and Rylee.

Will miss you so much Robin I wish I could have taken some of your heartache away even for a day. So glad we spent time together but wish it could have been under better circumstances. When I see your grandchildren I will give them a big hug from their Grandmother......Dan and I will miss you.

Thank you Aunt Robin for all the memories, laughs, and everything that you did for the Woodrum family. I can still hear your snicker when I remember you telling your stories and the little pranks you did.
Rest in Peace Over the Rainbow.
Love,
Tammy Woodrum
