This was also taken November 6, 2023 at St. Louis' oldest soda fountain, Crown Candy Kitchen.   Best chocolate shake ever.

This was taken November 6, 2023 when Uncle Roger and Deb stopped in St. Louis for a visit.  We had a great day seeing the sights!

Uncle Roger brought us a lot of happiness and joy into our lives, especially when he often made the trip it Michigan to visit his big brother Glen! The two of them had a special bond and love for one another. We were never quite sure who made who laugh more! Thank you for the wonderful memories, you will forever be in our heart and truly missed! We love you!!

My first time meeting Roger was when his nephew and I were  just newly married. He showed up at our door claiming to be the police looking for my husband.   
He didn’t carry the ruse out for long and stepped aside to reveal my father in law with a big grin on his face. They both got such a kick out of it and were still talking about the look on my face  45 years later. 
I’ll always remember his smile and how he never missed an opportunity to tell me how much he thought of my daughter. 
I’ll miss you Uncle Roger. I’m sure you’re having a wonderful family reunion.
