Mr. Jenkins got his wings! He was such an angel for all he did and the kindness he showed. The smile and the twinkle in his eye as he told us stories was awesome. So gracious and kind. I too was one of the lucky students at Raytown Jr. Then I was also a colleague at MCC. We all enjoyed it when he came to our office and were very happy to work with him. God Bless Ron, you will be missed.

I value all of my teachers from both Raytown Jr. and Raytown High.  Mr. Jenkins was a wonderful educator.  He will me missed.  My condolences to his family.

Ron Jenkins was my math teacher back in the 1960's.  He was a wonderful teacher and a kind person. He made an impact on my life!  My condolences to his family!

Sharon and family, I was so saddened by the news of Ron's passing.  He was such a nice man and so generous with the time he gave to Shepherd's Center of Raytown's Meals On Wheels Program and Adventures In Learning.  He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.

Mr. Jenkins exhibited strength in humility.  He was a great teacher, a great role model, and a great man.

Mr. Jenkins will be greatly missed by so many of us Raytown Junior students.  He was the only math teacher I was not afraid of! He also had more patience then most.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron Jenkins' death.  He was my 7th grade math teacher and later my colleague at RHS where I taught English, and he taught math.  He was a quiet, considerate man, and he was thoughtful and giving of his time.  He touched our lives in ways we never expected.

Mr. Jenkins was one of the kindest, most patient teachers I've ever had the honor of having at Raytown HS. Without him and his care for students I'd never have grasped math. As a person you could always see that he had others best interest at heart and he truly cared. So sad and sorry to hear if his loss. I'm thinking of his family at this time and thank you all for sharing his time with all of the students and others whose lives he touched. He will be greatly missed.

Peace be with you all!  My parents (Bob and Ann Clark) thought so much of Ron.  He was a wonderful man and outstanding teacher who touched so many lives.  May he rest in peace.

I am sorry for your loss.  Mr Jenkins was a wonderful man and teacher.  I had him as my math teacher in 8th grade at Raytown Jr. He was always kind, patient and helpful to us students.  May God grant you peace in this time of loss.

Mr. Jenkins was a gentle caring teacher and man.  I remember him fondly and would see him often at Fit For Life, in Raytown.  He was surprised that I would remember him, from the early 60's.  I told him I remembered all my wonderful teachers who made an impression, as he did.  May his family know that he was truly appreciated and liked.  God bless.

So sorry to hear about Mr. Jenkins passing.  He was my 8th grade math teacher at Raytown Jr back in the mid 60's.  I remember he was always so nice and soft spoken. My locker outside of his classroom was always getting stuck and he helped me open it many times.  Years later in the early 90's, I started going to a church in Independence and he and Laura members there.  He had not changed a bit. I could not bring myself to call him Ron--he was always Mr. Jenkins to me! A very sweet and gentle man.  God rest his soul.
