Ronald Lee Wolgamott, 81, born in Stella, MO, passed away on April 19, 2024, in Kansas City, MO. He was a faithful husband of 62 years, a devoted father, grandfather, and friend. Ronnie was known for being hardworking, generous, loving, funny, a man of faith, and was given the nickname Cookie Monster because of his love for sweets.
Ronnie was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, retiring from the Raytown branch after 32 years of dedicated service. In his free time, Ronnie enjoyed going on long drives, garage selling, and hanging out with his buddy Frank. He was a member of the Pebble Creek Assembly of God, where he found peace in his faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Wolgamott, his children Rhonda Wolgamott, David Wolgamott and wife Angie, Carla Milbrodt and husband Mark, Rodney Wolgamott, Dana Wolgamott, 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Wilma (Jo) Miller, father Carl Wolgamott, brother Shannon Wolgamott, and two grandsons, Chris Siebenmorgen and Colby Foster.
A visitation will be held on April 25, 2024, from 6-8 pm at Pebble Creek Assembly of God. The funeral service will be held on April 26, 2024, at 11 am at the same location, followed by a grave side service at Floral Hills cemetery in Raytown, MO.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Goodbye is not the end it is just a different way of saying I will see you again.
