Aunt Mary Louise Hovel said, "My fond memories of Rose go back many years. Her mother was a good friend of my mother-in-law. She told me about her when Nicho and I were going to med school. She showed us her love by acts of kindness, that I will never forget. She was a very kind, loving and caring person. We all will miss her so very much."

Mark Negrete, "Speaking for myself, I remember when I was little, that Aunt Rose would always come over bearing gifts of clothes for us Negrete kids. One time, I think they all drove down to Columbia Mo. to bring us some clothes. She always shared the blessings she had, and instilled in everyone, a sense of pride and honor. I have to ask, "Did anybody get her recipe for Sopita??" She loved to make it for me, probably because I went nuts at the sight of it. She was so generous and beautiful and loving. Sleep well Aunt Rose. Much love and we will see you again someday."

Dear Family,
Our heartfelt condolences to you and so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My sister, brother and I got to know your mother when she sat at the table for the monthly potlucks at Willow Estates. We would laugh with her because she was getting my sister and I mix up when one of us didn't come to the luncheon. She love to talk and share with us stories about her family and going to Colorado. My sister and I would assist her at the meals and found out that she didn't like ham or dark meat but, like to eat desserts first. May you find comfort in shared memories with family and friends.

I always loved seeing Aunt Rose. I'd tell her how beautiful she was and she would tell me the same. She was always wearing her beautiful smile and had lots of stories to share. She sure loved her kiddos and would speak so highly of them. She will be dearly missed. Love you family and keeping you all in prayer.
