

She was the devoted wife of Anthony Hamam who preceded her in death January 1, 1986. Also predeceasing her, were her sister Betty, and brothers Joe, John, and Frank, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Charles and Louise Hamam, and brother-in-law James Henderson.
Surviving Rose are her children Joyce Jackson, Kansas City, Missouri, John (Marybeth) Hamam, Lenexa, Kansas, Diane Lindsey, Overland Park, Kansas and Mary (Ali) Elmusa, Leawood, Kansas who dearly loved and will forever miss her. She also leaves her sister-in-law Mary (Hamam) Henderson, whom she shared a loving friendship for over 70 years, nieces Trudy (Leavey) DeLuca, Sharon (Leavey) Wilson, along with beloved nephews and nieces.
She was grandmother to nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She loved and was always interested in their welfare.
Rose found great joy in her family, doll collection, antiques, flower garden and all things pretty.
Services will be held for Rose, Thursday, June 19th, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas. Visitation at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
Our mother’s final days were spent in peace and comfort at KC Hospice House where she and her family received excellent care, attention, and loving guidance as she looked forward to Heaven.
