Rose Marie Kinney, 86, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away February 20, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 24, at Our Lady of Presentation, 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64081. Burial in Forest Hill/Calvary Cemetery.
Rose Marie had worked at Montgomery Wards in customer service, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a volunteer at Kansas City Hospice. Rose Marie received the Bishop’s Award from the Kansas City-St. Joseph Diocese in 2004 for her volunteer work at Old St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lena Midena and her husband Thomas N. Kinney. Rose Marie is survived by sons John J. Kinney of Hobe Sound, FL, Tom Kinney and wife Roxanne of Lake Winnebago, MO and daughter Nancy Brown and husband William of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandchildren Nicholas and Ryan Brown (Sara), Lisa Remer (Steve), Jennifer Motley (Chris), Jeff Kinney (Jessica), Thomas Kinney, Ashlee and Kyle Brosseit; and great grandchildren Alexis Harmon, Mason Remer, Max Motley, Logan and Claire Brown, Leo Kinney, and Madison Brosseit.
