Rose M. Schmidt, 99, Mission, Kansas, passed away November 26, 2015. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Rose worked as a legal secretary for her entire career. She was a member of the Westwood Lutheran Church. Rose loved gardening and spending time with her Merriam neighborhood children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gudmund. Rose is survived by nephews and nieces.
