Rose Marie Watkins, 84, Norwood, Missouri, passed away March 22, 2012 at Cox House Hospital in Springfield. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Watkins was born February 27, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Lawrence and Olga (Shoaf) Closser. She was preceded in death by her husband.
