Rose Marie Wilson, 89, of Overland Park, passed away January 1st, 2013. Rose Marie was born July 27th, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Savoca, in Kansas City. She attended Northeast High School and the Kansas City College of Commerce, where she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi business sorority. She was a past president of the Phi Kappa Psi Mother’s Club at the University of Kansas. She was a charter member of the Village United Presbyterian Church. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband Glen, and brother Carl Savoca. She is survived by her son Craig Wilson and wife Carol, grandchildren Ashley (Jeremy) Gunter, Ed (Kristin) Wilson, Jon (Liz) Wilson, and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Lucille Tutera and her wonderful staff at The Atriums for making mom’s life so enjoyable the past four years, and special thanks to Susan, Jeff, and the loving caregivers on the 2nd floor for their compassionate care the past month.
