Rosemary Strafuss Smith, 86, passed away March 11, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorial contributions be made to a charity of choice.
Rosemary was born November 17, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas to Alfred and Elizabeth Strafuss. She was preceded in death by her parents William “Mac” and Elizabeth McCormick and son Gary Francis. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward William Smith, Sr.; sons, Eddie, Jr. (Terry) Smith, Craig Smith; daughter-in-law Cheryl; 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
