Ruth B. Cooper, 91, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away September 17, 2011. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, at First Baptist Church, 2 NE Douglas, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Cooper was born January 18, 1920 in Festus, Missouri, daughter of Lewis and Grace (Vinyard) Lucas. She had worked as church secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband.
