Rylie Dawn Hemenway

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Rylie Dawn Hemenway on March 28, 2026. Rylie was born on December 4, 2025, along with her twin sister, Rain Lenore, to Shannon and Ben Hemenway of Kansas City, Missouri.

Rylie was a bright, curious and playful little girl. She was quick to smile, especially when someone clapped her hands together. She was loved by all who met her.

Rylie will be forever missed and loved by her older brothers, Harrison and Collier, her twin sister, Rain, her parents, maternal grandparents, Patricia Paul and Jerry Collier, paternal grandparents, Robert and Dawn Hemenway, uncle Rick Collier (Valerie), uncle Brian Collier, aunt Kate (David) Hamilton, aunt Kimberly (MaryBeth) Biga, and too many cousins, great aunts and uncles and other family and friends to name.

Rylie was predeceased by her great grandparents: Thomas and Patricia Kennedy, Robert and Barbara Collier, Robert and Shirley Hemenway, and Lorenz and Doris Carlson, who we are sure are holding her now in heaven.

Services will be held at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145 on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11 a.m.
