Sally S. Perez, 80, Kansas City, Kansas died on January 1, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Kansas City, Kansas. Burial will be later in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2009 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 West Linwood Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri, where the rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m.

Sally was born November 8, 1928 in Kansas City, Kansas to Gregorio and Valentina (Ayala) Garcia. Her family was her life, raising seven children and help raise their children at her home. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband Gregory Perez, Sr., four brothers and 1 sister. Her survivors include three sons, Gregory Perez, Jr., Joseph Perez (Rhonda), Martin Perez, Sr. (Marie); four daughters, Rita Perez Estrada (Charles), Christina Rios (George), Catherine Perez-Monarca (Jesus), and Beatrice Perez; her companion of 21 years, Lee Lattin; her brother, Herman Garcia (Ophelia) and sister Juanita Quiroz; 40 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 21 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
