Samantha was born was born August 10, 1994, in Lee's Summit, Missouri, to Ronald and Ladonna Davis. Her early years included attending a variety of schools across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, experiences that shaped her with quiet strength and steady resolve. Among those chapters, her favorite school was in Afton, Oklahoma, where she was a cheerleader—an early reflection of the spirit and determination she carried through life.
Throughout her working life, Samantha held a variety of positions, including landscaping, telecommunication, and work as a dental assistant with KU Dental School. She especially loved her time in dental school, yet it was followed by what mattered most to her: the work of being a full-time mom, a role she embraced with unwavering devotion.
In 2016, Samantha married Brandon Ibarra, who unfortunately passed soon after. In time, she met her significant other, Cale Neddermeyer, and together they raised three children: Karter (3), Kayden (4), and Kayson (9). After this point, Sammy’s life was anchored in caring for her children, loving them deeply, and showing up for them with constancy and fierce dedication.
Sammy was also profoundly proud of the hard work she invested in maintaining her sobriety. She began that journey the moment she learned she was pregnant with Kayden, and she never looked back—a testament to her courage, her discipline, and her commitment to the life she wanted for herself and her family.
Samantha was preceded in death by her mother, Ladonna Davis; and her husband, Brandon Ibarra.
She is survived by her father, Ronald Davis; brother, Tyler Davis; her children, Karter, Kayden, and Kayson; many aunts and uncles; and numerous half-siblings.
