My prayers and thoughts go out to Sam's family. Sam was part of our family for 20 years and we loved him very much. He was with our sister, Candace Shipman for all of those years and attended numerous family functions of ours. We have great memories of Sam at graduations, weddings, holidays and other events. His smile would light up the room. He had a heart big enough to love a lot of people. We were blessed to have Sam in our lives.

I had the pleasure to be the only Mrs. Sam Weber. We were married 17 years and believe me never dull. Obviously there were issues that parted us. But unlike most divorced people we stayed close and loved each other always. Between us we created the most amazing daughter. She was Sam’s biggest pride and joy. Then she blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren. Sam also held great pride in them. Every trip we took involved fishing, from Canada to the Bahamas. He was proud I could hold my own with a fishing pole. We shared so many memories of time with Terry and Connie Swayze. Terry was the perfect best friend to Sam, Connie was special also. They both helped Samantha care for her father in his final years. Sam was the type of guy you couldn’t not like. His smile was genuine. No matter what life threw at him “he felt like a million bucks” He will be missed so much.
