She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and June Hurst; and her husband of 58 years, Frank (Bud) Wheeler.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Shelley Vaughn (David) and Paula Wheeler (Chris Johns); granddaughter, Caitlin Morlok (Jacob); great grandson, Vilas Morlok; and many great family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9-10 AM, funeral Mass at 10 AM, on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118. A private burial will take place at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
