I always enjoyed working with Sarah years ago, in the Emergency Department at St. Joe Hospital.  I'd like to offer my condolences to Sarah's family and friends.  I know she is comfortable and at peace now.

My condolences to Julie and family for the loss of your mother.  Sarah was a wonderful friend to my mother who worked with her for many years at St. Joseph. For a while after my mother's passing, she'd call every few months to ask how I was doing and reminisce about their friendship and many others who were also gone.  Sarah will be missed.

Sarah will truly be missed.   I worked with her for almost 20 years and in that time became very  close friends.   She was the glue that kept us all from work in contact when we retired and definitely a friend to always be loved and remembered.   You are missed Sarah.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sarah's passing.  I worked with her at St. Joseph's Health years ago and will remember her always as a compassionate and caring co-worker.  Please accept my condolences to  family and friends.

I am writing on behalf of the Jackson family.  We wish  to send our condolences to Mrs Sarah Shelton’s family. She was a very close friend of my dearly departed grandfather, Ernest Jackson, who passed away in 2019. Mrs Sarah always checked in with my grandfather and our family, even beyond his last days. She was such a kind, caring and sweet soul. We are sending so much love and our sincere grievances during this difficult time.

Sarah was my mother-in-law for 22 years and part of my family for 30 years.  She was always included with my Mom and Aunts sitting around the kitchen table chit chatting about life's events. She introduced us to her delicious cranberry salad and twice baked potatoes her way. On a rare occasion she made a coconut cake my Mom loved.  Sarah loved her cats  and her North Carolina roots. We spent many hours on the phone at night with her telling me the latest news about her friends and nursing classmates and growing up in NC.  She looked forward to her Friday bowling nights  and cherished those friends as well.  When the kids were little and got sick she was my first call. Often we'd skip the line at the clinic she worked at on weekends to be seen by the doctor.  She always worked two jobs. She loved her Grandchildren and was 
proud of their accomplishments . I only wish they had more time with her as adults.  Sarah will always hold a special place in our hearts. 

Sarah was a classmate of mine at High Point School of Nursing 1960-1963.  We have remained friends thru the years & I will miss her.  She was a lot of fun and we shared many special times together.  A  great loving & caring friend, nurse, & a great family.
