Michelle and Martin, I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. My deepest sympathies.

I have a lot of great memories with Grandma, but one of my favorites is playing cards with her during a fishing trip when I was a little kid, and making her listen to a song on a barbershop quartet album that I found hilarious--about 1,000 times in a row. What a true display of love.

Michele, I fondly remember your mother's support through all our years in the NKC school system and her engagement in our activities.  I'm sorry for your loss but how wonderful it was for you to have your mother all these years.  Take care.

Sandy and I always enjoyed being with Sarah, whether at Park University, at Quality Hill Playhouse or theater  trips, or at other community events.Sarah served on the Board of Trustees at Park College/University at a time when I was trying to increase the percentage of Board members who had name recognition in the Kansas City metro. David and I will always remember Sara, she was a remarkable women, she became Beta Sigma Phi/Northland Area Council Honorary member 1976, and came each year to our dinner. Her love of everyone and her witt was remarkable. Praying for Martin and Michele and their families - God bless you all

Michelle, so sorry to hear of your mom's death.  She was such a lovely lady and always smiling when I saw her at church.  Her presence will be missed by many.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of your wonderul Mother this morning,  As  memeber of her church it has been my pleasure to visit with her on many Sunday mornings and I have always marveled at her cheerfulness and her zest for life.  Carol and I offer our sincere sympathy and pray God's Blessings on you and your family at this trying time.

Mother loved life, her family, her church, her friends and her city  She passed away very peacefully in her sleep early on Saturday morning, December 7.  Truly the end of an era.

Mother was a true lady in every sense of the word.  She was opinionated, never hesitating to speak out for what she believed in.  She was strong and her steadfast faith in God never wavered.  She loved her family and never met an obstacle that she couldn't conquer.  She loved her church family and rarely missed a Sunday in Sunday School and worship.  She loved dressing up and was always dressed to the nines, handbag and shoes matching.

A very special thanks to Dr. James Hall, the family doctor but more importantly as a friend to both my parents.  Through his care, I believe that he extended both of their lives by years.  And that is also true of nurse Cathy Torgerson who was always there whenever I needed something or had a question.  Thank you.

Mother had so many friends and never missed an opportunity to send a card to honor birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions.  She was Hallmark's dream customer.

Mother - As many times as our strong wills clashed, in the end you were able to live out your life in your own home, driving your own car (however scary I always thought that was), and on your own terms.  You were so loved and will be missed by so many.

Your wish when you got to heaven was that you would be taller and have a bigger kitchen.  I'm not sure about the taller part but I'm sure that you're in that heavenly kitchen taking charge, making friends and serving others.  May each of us remember and honor your faith and strength in life.  I love you and you left us with a lifetime of good and loving memories.

A Very Special Lady.  The Northland owes so much for such quality representation.
