Shana Marie Cucchi-Nelson

Known as” Nana” for short, coming from the nickname, “Shana Banana”, Shana was born September 17, 1992, in Kansas City MO. Shana passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 24th, 2022, at her home in Blue Springs, MO.

Shana was a vivacious soul with a deep, loving, spirit. She was beautiful, smart as a whip teaching herself sign language and then teaching her brother so they could communicate, she was also kind,

giving, a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend. Shana loved helping others and loved her daughter and nieces and nephews with all her heart, she would give them world if she could, she had the biggest inner

child spirit, and walked around with not a care in the world with a open outlook on life and people. She just wanted to always be having fun and enjoying life. She was an avid swimmer, and loved the lakes, rivers, and ocean. Shana’s spirit will live on forever, in the wind and the water, where her heart and soul will be.

Shana is survived by her mother, Tara Johns, father Robert Cucchi, daughter Bella, two sisters, Sheri Jacks, Shayla Nelson, one brother, Ethan Cucchi, nieces and nephews, Kaydin Reistad, and Dillon

Jacks, Mariella Reistad, Skylynn Baisley, aunt Jody, Uncle Brian, grandmas and grandpas, Ruthann Meyers, Bonnie Cucchi, Bill Baisley, as well as many other family members if not mentioned above, as Shana was taken from us too soon in life.

Shana was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Shirley Nelson, Fred Meyers, Bill Johns, and stepfather Carl Johns.

Funeral will be held Wednesday August 31st 9 am visitation, 10 am service.
