She is preceded in death by her father and mother, brother, Charles Roberts, Jr, and husband, Gary Boitel.
Sharon is survived by 5 siblings, Charles Michael Roberts (Angie), Freddie Roberts, Renee Jackson (Mike), Theresa Roberts, and DeLisa Lamb (Kevin). Children, Nancy Horrocks, Gail Jones Kaufman (Craig), David Jones; grandchildren, Medea Oakley (Derick), Sara Parker (Kyle), Danielle Jones, Christopher Kaufman, and Chancellor Kaufman, great-grandchildren, Journey Ellis, Jett and Indie Nistendirk, several nieces, nephews and friends.
Sharon worked at Folger’s Coffee for 20 years before retiring to Osceola, Missouri. Sharon enjoyed the country life, gardening, bird watching, cooking, reading, traveling and most of all, family time. Sharon loved her family with all her heart, supported everyone and was a great role model for her family. She was enthusiastic about the KC Royals and KC Chiefs and could be heard yelling at the TV when either team scored. She was a follower of Jesus and loved her Gerster Baptist Church family.
Visitation will begin at 12pm, with a service celebrating Sharon’s life at 1pm, on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64119. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery in Rushville, MO.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the ALS Foundation or St. Jude’s Hospital.
