Born on March 3, 1937, Sharon was known for her deep love of children - a passion that truly defined her life. Whether caring for her own children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, or the baby dolls she cherished later in life, Sharon's heart was always open to the joy and innocence of youth. Even in her final days, she lovingly cared for her beloved baby doll, Jenny, a touching testament to her lifelong affection for babies. Despite the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease, Sharon found ways to keep love alive, even as her memory faded.
Sharon was a proud 1955 graduate of Ruskin High School, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. She remained in close contact with her school friends, staying heavily involved in planning their class reunions and relishing the monthly get-together lunches they enjoyed.
Sharon's creativity shone through in the beautiful, crafty gifts she made, particularly for her grandbabies, each one crafted with love and care. She also had a talent and passion for sewing, and was an avid reader, especially drawn to historical romances.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Sharon leaves behind a legacy of love that will be felt for generations. Her unwavering commitment to her family made everyone feel included and cherished, especially during the holidays, when her thoughtful Christmas gifts were always perfectly chosen to make each family member feel special.
Her children and stepchildren were the center of her world. She is survived by her 8 children: Denny (Robin), Lowry (Laura), Gary (Jody), Scott, Tina (Chris), Cindy, Joel (Dianne), and Julie (Mike); 27 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. Sharon was a pillar of strength and love for her family, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We will forever remember her love and her unwavering dedication to those she held dear.
