Shirley R. Canole, age 93, of Leawood, Kansas passed away on February 10, 2021 in Leawood, Kansas. She was born on October 14, 1927 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of James Gilbert and Carrie Vivian (Satterwhite) Thomas. She married John Canole on June 2, 1984 in Kansas City, MO.
She was employed at Hardin and Stockton Real Estate as a Closing Secretary, and Coldwell Banker. She was an owner, breeder and handler of English Bulldogs and Boston Terriers. She loved all her animals. She was an active member of the English Bulldog Club of Kansas City, and the Kansas City Boston Terrier Club, and Gracemor Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John, Parents: James Thomas and C. Vivian (Satterwhite-Thomas) Hoagland. She is survived by: Nieces, Nephews and cousins that dearly loved and cherished her.
Private Funeral Services and Interment will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to: Gracemor Christian Church, Kansas City, MO.
