Shirley had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing gospel. She had a great talent for drawing
too. She loved her family more than anything and would drop everything to help any way she
could. But that didn't stop with family, she was always helping complete strangers and donating
to church and charities.
She was baptized through Assembly of God Church and had a deep strong relationship with The Lord. Her world revolved around scripture and the loving words of Christ our Lord. She was at peace and her new journey has begun.
Her career was in health care for years, then she moved into Sterilization of instruments in
the central service unit of Childrens Mercy Hospital, where she remained until she retired.
She quickly worked her way up to asst director of this unit and her employees loved her as she
loved them.
After retirement she started working from home for ETC in Olathe KS. She had very close
and loving friendships that she had been blessed with from this wonderful company and always
enjoyed her job and co-workers. She worked part time for ETC until 2015 and was so sad when
she could not continue due to health restraints.
She is a graduate of Turner High School, Kansas City, Class of 31. She has lived in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and moved back to Kansas in 1979 to be close to family. When she lived in Florida, she joined a gospel band and they performed at many events and gatherings.
There will be a service for Shirley Hall in the chapel at Mt Moriah. Afterwards Shirley's, and
her loving husband Howard's ashes will be placed in their crypt together during a Military
Honor Service for Howard as they reach their final resting place.
