Shirley Annetta Mauck, age 78, passed away at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence, MO, on May 10, 2016, after a long battle with health issues. Shirley was born on November 16, 1937, in Pleasant Hills, MO, to Otis Lewis and Gracie Pearl Taylor Turner. She has 3 surviving siblings, Vance, Burnetta, Carol, and 4 siblings who preceded her in death Louise, Paula, Betty, and John Dee. On May 14, 1954, Shirley married Elvie Mauck, who survives her, and they enjoyed nearly 62 years together. She is survived by her son Michael and daughter-in-law Tammy. She was preceded in death by her son Ricky and daughter Debra. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. The family will hold a private graveside service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
