Shirley graduated from Northeast HS in Kansas city, MO in 1966 and went to college. She dedicated herself to caring for others, working as a CNA at St Mary's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. In later years, she also did secretary work. Throughout her life, her steady devotion showed most clearly the love she gave to her family, especially in the time she cherished babysitting her grandchildren. A devout Christian, she lived with faith as a guiding presence and a source of strength.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John Orescanin; her parents, Allen and Barbara Rodgers; and her brothers, John Rodgers and Clinton Rodgers.
She is survived by her siblings, Cheryl Duffey, Joyce Hardison, Caroline Dierkens(BILL), Steven Rodgers, and Thomas Garrison(Mary); her two stepdaughters, Sarasue Wiggs and Lori Chastain; and step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters in laws, Judy Bousman and Radine Byrd, as well as many nieces and nephews.
