Shirley Jean Querry

Shirley Jean Querry passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 in Little River, South Carolina. She was born on March 11, 1931, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Elmer O. and Rose M. Willey. She worked for Sunshine Biscuit Company for over 25 years, and was as a devoted wife and mother who loved being outdoors and cutting the field on her tractor. 

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Dennis Querry; daughter, Janet Kay Fitzsimmons; brothers, Howard F. Willey and Eugene Edward Willey; sisters, Anna Katherine Willey Spence and Allene R Romig. She is survived by her son, Ronald Querry and his wife, Karen Querry; daughter, Twyla Browning; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at McGilley Antioch Chapel, located at 3325 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at McGilley Antioch Chapel on Friday, January 2, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm. The committal will be in Mt. Muncie Cemetery in Lansing, Kansas.
