Shirley was born April 6, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri and spent most of her life in the Kansas City area.
Shirley graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1955. After graduation she took to the sky and was an airline stewardess for TWA, a job she genuinely loved. She reminisced often of the journeys she took over those few years and the experiences she encountered.
Shirley married Kenneth Lynn Seibert in 1964, a marriage that would last 52 years.
Shirley’s all-time greatest love was Ken, her family (…and Frank Sinatra…). All her children were proud to call her mom.
Shirley spent her life giving and helping others throughout her South Kansas City neighborhood. There was not a kid or animal that ever went without. She fed every person who walked through the door and picked up every stray animal - literally every stray animal.
Often wearing her favorite color yellow, she was always dressed to the nines and her smile would light up a room! Shirley was a fly by the seat of your pants kind of girl, a fierce-loving mother and extremely proud grandmother.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Helen Bradley and Robert Rhoades, her husband Ken Seibert. She is survived by her sister Deborah Flores, brother John Bradley, children Bob (Betsy) Seibert, Lee’s Summit, MO, David (Michelle) Seibert, Lee’s Summit, MO, Amy (Justin) Ruby, Overland Park, KS, Mike (Kelly) Seibert, Mission Hills, KS, 7 grandchildren, Maggie, Morgan, Sailor, Payton, Piper, Hadley and Grant and great-grandchild, Jaxson, several nieces and nephews and her best friend of 73 years Marge Brands.
