Shirley Etherton-Trueblood, age 86, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 7, 2018.

Shirley is survived by Walt, her loving husband of 58 years, her eldest daughter Chris and son-in-law Bob, her son Walt Jr., her youngest daughter Beth and son-in-law Stan, six adoring grandchildren Rob, Mackenzie, Tyler, Anna, Jacob, and Cooper, her nieces Claudia and Nancy Davis, and her great-nieces and nephews John Elliot, Andrew, and Caitlin Davis.

Shirley will forever be remembered for her effervescent smile, her ability to love effortlessly and wholeheartedly, her tremendous sense of humor, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shirley’s life blessed everyone who had the privilege of knowing her and she will never be far from our thoughts and will remain forever in our hearts!
