A rosary will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday June, 23 2018, followed by visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, and a funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 4101 E 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137. Graveside service will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
Shirley was from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She received her private pilot license, jumped a bus and made her way to California. She worked and flew at an airport in California, where Shirley met her husband Jack, in 1946. Two years later they married and started a family full of love in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, of 48 years, and grandson, Benjamin.
She is survived by her children, Kim, Terry, Joel, Jon, and Sonni; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
