Born on September 23, 1953, in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, Stan was the cherished son of Vonita Werner and Melvin T. Eyestone, and brother to Brad Eyestone, all of whom welcomed him warmly upon his heavenly arrival.
He leaves behind his loving wife and three sons, Rhonda, Dustin, Melvin, and James Eyestone. Stan exemplified the values of family, friendship, and empathy, touching the lives of all who knew him and leaving behind a legacy of love.
Stan found immense joy in life's simple pleasures – whether it was tinkering with cars, expressing himself through art, or sharing stories and jokes around a campfire. His laughter was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds, making him a cherished companion to many.
As we bid farewell to Stan, let us rejoice in the memories of his warmth, his laughter, and his boundless love. Though he may have transitioned from this earthly existence, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
May he rest in eternal peace, remembered by the everlasting love of those who will forever hold him dear.
A visitation for Stan will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
