Stan and I had two significant chance meetings in our lifetime. The first chance meeting I was a smitten 13 year old, who knew right away just how special he was. Though life took as down two distant roads, he never left my heart and mind. My memories of him often carrying me through challenging times, with hopes and dreams our paths would cross again. Our next chance meeting over forty years later, would find my fondness, admiration, and respect for him still thriving. Our circumstances had changed in both of our life's that would allow us to connect on a daily basis. My bond with Stan was a miracle and a blessing. I have never known anyone else in my lifetime with the unending amount of devotion, compassion, thoughtfulness, sincerity, and integrity that filled his soul. His loving words of bravery, courage, perseverance and faith will continue to sustain and lift me though the rest of my life. The one comfort I can depend on in the wake of his painful absence, is that he is in the warm, loving, presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My love always Stanley Matthew Doresky. You are my Knight in shining armor for all eternity. Blessings, love and gratitude, to you and all the other Angels in heaven. 143
