It saddened me to hear about Stan. I had known him since grade school, and even though we lost touch over the years, I was always glad to see him at our reunions. I'll always remember him as the good-looking athlete with the wonderful smile. I was out of town at the time of his passing and wish to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and close friends.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Stan, I played little league baseball with Stan, and have not seen or talked to him for at least 40 years. Stan saved my life, seriously, He saved me from drowning at a lake at Blue Hills country club.
I doubt if he ever said anything about it. Me, Stan, Craig Ackerson and Keith Flowers decided to swim across the lake, Keith got in to trouble, could not swim, I went to rescue him and he panicked, put me underwater. Stan was on shore, swam out and rescued me by getting Keith off of me. Craig was a witness to this as he thought we were clowning around, and Stan knew we weren't. True story,
I owe my life to Stan, I was underwater about to give up. I just want you to know how grateful I am and will always be, I will never forget that day or Stan and am sorry I never got to thank him again. I am so very sorry for the passing of Stan, and am so grateful for him for that short amount of time I knew him.

May God Bless and May God Bless Stan Miller

Corky and family, so sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. I knew you from the library, putting up with the counselors, and Stan, mostly as an athlete. Bless and comfort you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Stan's passing. I've known Stan since the 7th grade and enjoyed seeing him at our 40th reunion. He was a talented athlete and a very nice person with a wonderful sense of humor. My condolence to Stan's family and loved ones.

I'm so sorry to hear about Stan. From 7th grade thru graduation we were good friends. It was such a delight to finally see him last year at our 40th reunion. He was a phenomenal competitor in many sports but anyone who knew him would also have met a gentle soul. He had a great sense of humor and we're all blessed to have known him. I wish we were able to attend the funeral. All my sincere best wishes for his parents, wife and extended family.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Stan and I got to visit briefly at our last HS reunion in June and I also saw him at the one previous.

I have very fond memories of Stan. He will live in my heart as the very sweet and kind person that I knew so many years ago.

Prayers and loving thoughts to you all.
