Steve was a very special, respected colleague and I will truly miss him at GEA. Although I only got to see him 5-6 times a year, it was such a pleasure knowing him. He made an impact on my life and many others. He always made me smile and was one of the most kind, genuine people I've ever worked with. He was always asking me about my twin boys and then of course I would ask about his grandkids and he would beam with pride talking about them. My thoughts and prayers go out to Robbie and your entire family. He will be truly missed by so many!

Steve was the best, a true inspiration and model person. I absolutely loved working with him and talking with him. He was always so calm and positive. My prayers and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

My heart goes out to the Malchow family and the many countless others Steve touched throughout his life.  He will be missed but his presence will live on in all who knew him and in those we tell of him.

I would like to extend my condolences to the Malchow family and it was a great pleasure that I had a chance to work with Steve. He was a great person and a great colleague. He will be missed dearly.

He was such a nice, kind man, proud of his family, his work. Wonderful smile, nice stories; impossible to comprehend the loss. RIP.

Steve was such an easy going guy with a smile always on his face.  We are remembering the time Steve, Jack, and Scott put Howie's gym set together.  How would they have got it put together without Steve!!  We will miss Steve and our hearts go out to the Malchow family.

The greatest memory you have given me is the time you let me ride with you in your Studebaker pickup truck to the foot ball game in Estes park. You made me feel so important that day. I will never forget the feeling of equality for I was the underclassman. Thank you Steve for being you. You will never be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Malchow family.  Steve was a wonderful man and I especially admired his ability to treat everyone with the utmost respect and never lose his cool.  He was the consummate professional. Heaven receives a good one in Steve Malchow!

Steve was like no other -- soft spoken but with a noticeable presence. He was one of the kindest persons I have worked with and will very much be missed.

Steve will live on, in all the lives he touched. We will miss him dearly.
