Steve grew up in McMinnville, TN, completed a Bachelors of Art in Music at Tennessee Tech, and served in the United States Army for 20 years as a musician. He was a dedicated brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Virginia of 53 years and their four children- Karl McBride 52, Carol James 48, Michelle Czynszak 45, and Mark McBride 38; his nine grandchildren- Aerial McBride 29, Brandon McBride 28, Eeron Rebel 26, Lindsay Cate-McBride 25, Haven Czynszak 21, Cassandra McBride 20, Autumn McBride 8, Audrey McBride 7 and Aurelia McBride 2 as well as two great grandchildren- Aaron Soper 11 and Ravka Merriweather 1.
A visitation will be held from 12-1pm, with a service to begin at 1pm, on Wednesday, January 8 at First Baptist Church of Kansas City Missouri, 100 Red Bridge Rd, Kansas City, MO 64114. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
