I did not learn of Steve's passing until I received notification from Overland Limo. Steve frequently drove me to and from KCI over the years. Every ride was simply a delight. We would talk Kansas City Royals and baseball generally during the 45 minute trip and I was frequently surprised that we had already arrived. At home our dog would frequently bolt out the door to greet us when I arrived home from a trip and I eventually realized she was just as happy, or perhaps more, to see Steve.

Steve was simply a good soul who I will much miss. He will rest with the angels.

Steve has been such a light to me and my husband Tim. There are so many memories that Tim has shared with me of their lives growing up together. Summer visits of baseball with his favorite brothers, Steve, David and Tom. Tim always considered Steve as one of his brothers. I am so blessed to have known Steve and grateful that I am able to share his life through Tim's stories and memories,

All my love,
Brigid Harris

Our world and family has lost another beautiful soul. Steven was genuinely kind and selfless to everyone he met, knew, loved.

I always smile at the memory of him debating politics with my uncles until the sun started rising the next morning. He never got flustered, stood by what he believed in while still being respectful to opposing views. We need more of that these days.

I'll miss you, cousin.

When I started working at Overland Chauffeured Service 13 years ago I heard someone say "Hey is that Dawn Osborn?". I turned around and there was Steve. We had known each other as kids and went to church together at Second Creek Church. This is just one example of Steve never forgetting someone and his joy in connecting with people. I have treasured this reconnection as Steve always knows about who is doing what and cares about how everyone is. Our clients absolutely love Steve and I completely understand. His joy for life and his true concern for you and your life were genuine and heartfelt. He remembered what was important to you and could talk about anything. He was a hug in a conversation that truly made the day brighter. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met him and reconnect with him. He will be missed terribly but has given so many of us so much joy. Love you my friend

Steven had to be one of the most brilliant, hardworking, loving, and caring people that I had the privilege to have known for 13 years of my life. In those 13 years of knowing him, he introduced me to plenty of music, movies, sitcoms from The Beatles, Dr. Hook, Glen Campbell to The Munsters, Batman, I dream of Jeannie and so much more. Every time we hung out he always had something new to teach me and to talk about. He was so incredibly knowledgeable. He was a one-of-a-kind beautiful soul. He’ll never be forgotten by anyone that had the honor to know him because he was the kind of person to always leave a good mark in everyone's lives and hearts. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you gave my mother and me to look back on.

We’ll always love and miss you dearly Steven.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Romey family. There is no doubt in my mind that heaven gained an angel with an impeccable music taste.

Steve was a super nice guy! We always talked about music and past adventures he has had working with Overland Chauffeured Services. Since I started with the company, Steve was always very helpful in giving me advice on doing my job better.
Gonna miss you Steve! R.I.P.

Steve always had a smile on his face. We had many enjoyable conversations over the years at the Ritz Carlton/Fairmont/Intercontinental Hotel on the plaza.
What a good man. He was a pleasure to know and will be missed by many.
May God bless and comfort the family.
