He was born on October 29, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Stuart is survived by his spouse, Dini Davis, sons, Andrew Davis, Stephen Davis, Laurence Davis, Geoffrey Davis, and 12 grandchildren.
He was the Founding Rabbi of the New Reformed Temple, most recently Rabbi at Temple Sinai of Kansas City.
Stuart was a graduate of American University and Hebrew Union College.
The funeral will be private to protect the safety of the community. A Memorial will be held in the Autumn of 2021.
