Susan Paulette Funk, 65, of Kansas City, passed away February 19, 2015. Susan recently retired from Research Hospital, after 35 years of employment. She was an avid bagpiper, gardener, spiritual seeker, and a social and political activist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mavis Funk. Survivors include her sister and husband, Mary and Steven Long; niece, Amy Milionis; nephew and his wife, Scott and Lara Warnecke; great nephew and nieces: Ian, Lee and Elizabeth.
