Sylvia Lea Antrim

Mrs. Antrim was born on March 17, 1937 in Elkins, Arkansas. She moved to the Kansas City area at the age of five. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1955. Sylvia married the love of her life, Marvin Antrim, in July of 1955. They had three wonderful children.

Sylvia was a loving wife and mother. She really enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was an avid trout fisherman and loved nature and camping. She was also an avid bowler and loved to coach kids in bowling. She loved putting together jigsaw puzzles with Marvin.

Sylvia was preceded in death by parents John and Alma Moss and brother John R. Moss.

She is survived by husband Marvin Antrim, daughter Caryn Shonfelt, son Kenny Antrim, son Chris Antrim (Katherine), brother Jerry Moss (Shirley), grandkids Geane Madrigal (Joe), Scott Shonfelt (Mariemma), Aaron Antrim (Tina), Lori Hager (Brett), Seth Antrim, Matthew Antrim, Robert Antrim, great-grandkids Taylor, Dawson, Emma, Dalton, Blane, Mason, Marijane, Caleb, Cody, Cayden, Liam, and Livia, and great-great-grandchild Creed.

A visitation will be held on February 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home, located at 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.

The funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on the same day, followed by a graveside service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
