Teresa Stanley Hoelscher

Teresa was a dedicated IT project manager at Ameren, known for her sharp mind and steady leadership. A devout Catholic, she drew serenity and strength from her faith, finding comfort in prayer and worship. Teresa had a passion for travel, especially to places where she could soak up the sun and relax near the ocean. After returning to the lake in recent years, she cherished her time on their boat, “do IT tomorrow”, out on the water and found joy in opening their home to friends and family. Some of her happiest times were shared over a properly poured glass of New Zealand’s finest Sauvignon Blanc, paired with a sunset and laughter.

Teresa is survived by her loving partner, Scott Sherwood; two sons, Randoll Paul Hoelscher (Jessica) of Fairhope, AL, and Michael David Hoelscher (Karlie) of Newburgh, IN; two granddaughters, Kendal Rae and Mya Olivia Hoelscher; her mother in law, Matilda Hoelscher of Belleville, IL; two sisters, Rita Sax (Bill) of Belleville, IL and Linda Cramer (Bill) of Belleville, IL; a sister in law, Kathy Stanley of Brimfield, IL; as well as many loving nieces and nephews and close friends and family.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Brent Hoelscher; her parents, Forrest and Teresa Stanley; her father-in-law, Verle Hoelscher; her brother, Carl Stanley, and many other cherished friends and family members.

Funeral: A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 1st, at St. Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Church, Belleville, IL. A celebration of life will follow, please text or call Karlie (270-296-1274) or Jessica (618-444-7965) to RSVP or for further information.
