Teresa dedicated many years of her life to working in customer service within the trucking industry, always ensuring things ran smoothly with a warm smile and a helping hand. Outside of work, Teresa found joy in life’s simple pleasures—she had a deep love for flowers, a passion for motorcycles, and never passed up a good game of pool, darts, cornhole or bowling.
She is preceded in death by her dad, Chester Thomson.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Tom; mom, Loretta Thomson; siblings: Roxanne Squire (Harold) and Bryan Thomson; children: Jason Todd (Amanda), Daniel Newman (Hillary) and Crista Newman; 6 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, with service to begin at 2 PM and burial to follow, on Monday, March 3, at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.
