Teresa A. Roos, age 89, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on December 12, 2020. Teresa was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 15, 1931 to John F. Houlihan, Sr. and Adele (Meinert) Houlihan. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri as a young child. She attended Guardian Angels Grade School. She then went to Loretta Academy and then went to Mount St. Scholastica for a couple of years.
She married the love of her life, Edward J. Roos, Jr. She was a life member of St. Thomas More Church. Teresa was a member of the Richards Gebaur Base Community Council and the Whiteman Base Community Council. She was also a member of the Ladies of Charity.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Eddie, parents John F. Houlihan, Sr. and Adele (Meinert) Houlihan, her sisters Ann Marie Eaken and Mary Ann Houlihan and her brother John F. Houlihan, Jr. Teresa is survived by her daughters Kathy Schimmel (Dino) and Terry Licata (Tom) and five grandchildren, Angie and Emily Schimmel and Lucy, Charlie and Anthony Licata, and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
