She could often be found sunbathing, watering her flowers, and watching true crime with her favorite comfort foods, chocolate and Coke. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her partner of over 40 years, David. She was loved and admired by all who met her, and will be remembered for her calming presence, gentle demeanor, warm smile and infectious laughter.
Terre was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Nichole Lodena Griggs. She is survived by her partner David Jewell, sister Kathy Fornal of Lexington, South Carolina, son Ryan T. Griggs, daughter Tara Jewell Walker, three step-children, six grandchildren, and eight step-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 17th at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64133.
