Smith (Stella) and sister Charla Bradley (Roy) and many other family members. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Zero, Samson, Ellie May, and Forest.
Born and raised in Trenton, MO, Mammy spent half her life there before moving to the greater KC area. Mammy had a Bachelors degree in Special Education. She taught for many years in the Trenton and surrounding areas caring for the children's future. She also worked as a school bus driver for a short while, and after moving to KC she went to work at Citibank, before retiring.
Mammy was known for her great love of people and animals, often helping those who found themselves homeless or an animal in need however she could. Always humble and kind, never wanting to burden anyone, she cared deeply and put others needs before her own. She also loved music and the feelings that came from listening to her favorite songs, dancing around with her eyes closed just so she could get lost in the sound.
A visitation for Terri will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Northeast Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
