Theodore S. Molinari, 89, Gladstone, MO, passed away October 13, 2012 at North Kansas City Hospital. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 18th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church; burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Contributions are suggested to the Bishop Sullivan Center.
Ted was born May 7, 1923 in Kansas City, MO. He was a World War II Army/Air Corp veteran stationed in India, Burma and traveled the world on a troop ship. Ted was founder and president of Midwest Bindery for 35 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the American Sons of Columbus. He had a real zest for living and especially enjoyed golf, deep sea fishing, restoring cars, gardening, being an artist and traveling in Italy. Ted was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Prather in 1987; son-in-law, Thomas Prather; and his twin brother, Ralph Molinari.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Catherine Molinari; children, Marilyn Needham, Linda (Ralph) Hackett, Barbara (Mark) Greer, Joe (Jennifer) Molinari, and Angela (Kurt) Schell; 2 sisters, Fannie Allison and Rose DiBella; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and his beloved dog, “Buddy”.
