Theresa Herrera

Terry Herrera of Olathe, KS passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Evergreen Community of Johnson County. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St., Overland Park, KS, with a funeral procession following to Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Raytown, MO. After the burial, a reception will be held at the home of Denise Urkevich, 11516 Conser St., Overland Park.

Visitation will be Monday, January 3, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Flowers can be sent to McGilley State Line Chapel.

Terry was born August 28, 1925, in Kansas City, MO. She loved to cook huge meals for family social gatherings. Mom also enjoyed dining out, going to the theatre and shopping.

Terry was preceded in death by her husband, Al, of 66 years and her 8 sisters and 9 brothers. She leaves her son, Albert Herrera Jr; daughters, Cindy Bobowski and husband Jim; Denise Urkevich and husband Gary; 9 loving grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
