Theresa Marie Mueller, known affectionately as Terry, passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 74. Born on June 1, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri, Terry was the beloved daughter of Wesley James and Ann Bridgett (Mullane) Farrar. A lifelong resident of Kansas City, she graduated from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School and St. Pius X High School.
Terry was a hard-working individual who retired from General Motors Fairfax and U.A.W. Local 31. Her career also included positions at Tension Envelopes and the Social Security Administration.
Preceded in death by her parents, Terry is survived by her two daughters, Ann Lakey and her husband, Jeremy Lakey, and Patty Winders and her husband, Donald (Bear) Winders. Her generous spirit lives on through her three grandchildren, Josh Jimenez, Zachary Winders, and Abby Winders; 2 bonus grandsons, Brennan Lakey and Tristan Lakey; and great-grandson, Jaxson Winders. She also leaves behind her siblings, Cathy Morton and her husband, Steven Morton, and William (Bill) Farrar and his wife, Sharon Farrar, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Terry cherished her personal interests, which included adoring her grandchildren, playing bingo with her cousin, Rhett, and enjoying trips to the casinos, movies, and dining out at restaurants. Her legacy is marked by her love for laughter and storytelling, as well as her famed fudge and divinity during holiday gatherings. She never missed the opportunity to send cards to her grandchildren during the holidays.
The family extends their gratitude to NorthCare Hospice for the devoted care and love shown to Terry and her family during her final days.
Terry will be remembered for her beloved, thoughtful, and generous nature, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Rosary prayer service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb 24 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Kansas City, MO, followed by visitation starting at 10:50 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at noon.
